1, glass fiber mat coating can be obtained through using core-shell polymerization emulsion that could satisfy the requirement of glass fiber grid cloth coating properties, through the choice of different and core-shell ratio of soft monomer and hard monomer, found that the nuclear Tg for a 45 0 c, shell Tg is 20 0 c, shell/core is 5/4, coating adhesion, good flexibility, tensile strength of up to 808 n / 3 cm, alkali resistance retention rate of 85. 2%, suitable for alkali glass fiber grid cloth coating.

2, the coating felt using functional monomer N-light methylacrylamide to participate in emulsion copolymerization, can make the emulsion through self-crosslinking and improve the emulsion coating adhesion, strength and alkali resistance rate, but the amount of too much will cause the increase of emulsion viscosity, even cause gel.

The appropriate dosage of N- light methylacrylamide is 3%.

3. Organic silicon coupling agent was introduced into shell copolymerization. According to the cross-linking degree analysis, as the amount of organic silicon coupling agent increased, the crosslinking degree also increased, and the emulsion viscosity and coating alkali resistance rate also increased, but the viscosity and tensile strength first increased and then decreased as the amount of organic silicon coupling agent increased. The appropriate dosage of organosilicon coupling agent is 4%.

4. According to the analysis of core-shell emulsion, blend emulsion and single Tg copolymer emulsion, the compatibility of blend emulsion is poor, easy to stratification, and core-shell emulsion and copolymer emulsion are relatively stable. The co-copolymerization emulsion and the blend emulsion had high adhesion, but the core-shell emulsion had no adhesion. The tensile strength of core-shell emulsion is higher than that of blend emulsion and copolymerization emulsion. It can be seen that the performance of core-shell emulsion is better than that of blend emulsion and copolymerization emulsion.

5. DSC analysis of the copolymer shows that there is a two-phase structure in the copolymer, and organosilicon coupling agent is introduced into the shell polymerization, so that the Tg of the shell is higher than the calculated value. TEM analysis showed that the latex particles were irregular in shape. TEM and particle size analysis showed that the particle size distribution was wide. The infrared spectra show that Si-0 bonds exist in core-shell polymer molecules.
